As mentioned earlier, ECO is designed by the Government as an efficient energy program. There is a total of three additions to this program. This program was launched in an attempt to reduce the number of carbon emissions produced by energy companies; that the UK Government has set targets for energy companies to meet. Under the Energy Companies Obligation (ECO) agreement, energy companies are obliged to provide UK homeowners with ‘primary insulation measures’ to use less energy.
